Guwahati, Oct 6: The Special Task Force of the Assam Police arrested another person from Satgaon in Guwahati on Monday for allegedly supplying sensitive information to Pakistan.
The arrested person has been identified as Ritesh Kumar Singh of Begusarai in Bihar.
According to police, Ritesh was arrested based on information obtained from Abhishek Kumar Singh, who was arrested on Sunday. Ritesh is alleged to have assisted Abhishek in the activities.
In a press release issued by the Assam Police, preliminary investigation has revealed Ritesh Kumar Singh’s alleged involvement in espionage related activities, including passing secret information concerning security forces to Pakistan Intelligence Operative (PIO).
