Tripura Police Observe International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2026 in Agartala

13 October, Agartala: On the occasion of International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2026, officers and personnel of Tripura Police took a pledge on disaster preparedness at the Police Headquarters in Agartala today.
Krishnendu Chakraborty, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Intelligence and Security, administered the pledge.
According to the Police Headquarters, this year’s theme is “Resilience Starts at Home.” The initiative aims to promote disaster preparedness, reduce risks and build a safer, disaster-resilient society.
