MEGHALAYA MOUNTAINEER WALLAMBOK LYNGDOH SUMMITS MT. BHAGIRATHI II

Wallambok Lyngdoh, General Secretary of the Meghalaya Sport Climbing and Mountaineering Association (MeSCMA), has successfully summited Mt. Bhagirathi II, standing at 6,512 metres in Uttarakhand’s Garhwal Himalayas.
The achievement marks his 18th successful summit across 25 mountaineering expeditions. He hoisted the MeSCMA flag, the flag honouring tributes to Meghalaya’s freedom fighters atop the peak.
The association described the feat as a proud moment for Meghalaya, inspiring young people to pursue mountaineering with determination and discipline.
