KTR, the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), on [date] demanded a Supreme Court-monitored probe into the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and called for the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The demand was made during a press conference in Hyderabad, where KTR questioned the motives behind the electoral revision.

KTR's remarks come amid growing opposition concerns over the SIR process, which they allege could disenfranchise voters. He stated, “This nation has seen many individuals come and go, and it has remained strong. So why this desperation to protect one man?” The BRS leader's call for the CEC's removal adds to the pressure on the Election Commission, which has defended the SIR as a necessary exercise to clean up electoral rolls.

The development is likely to intensify political tensions, with opposition parties potentially uniting on the issue. The Election Commission has not yet responded to KTR's demands. The Supreme Court's intervention, if any, could set a significant precedent for electoral oversight. Further reactions from other political parties and the government are awaited.
