Comedian Joe Lycett and an actor from the hit series Slow Horses have been confirmed to take part in a production of White Rabbit Red Rabbit, the unconventional play by Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour. The announcement, reported by Digital Spy, reveals that the two performers will join a growing list of actors who have tackled the unique theatrical experience.

White Rabbit Red Rabbit is a play unlike any other: it is performed by a different actor each night, who has never seen the script before and has no rehearsal. The play, which premiered in 2011, has been translated into more than 30 languages and performed by over 1,000 actors worldwide, including Whoopi Goldberg, Martin Short, and Nathan Lane. Its format ensures that every performance is a one-time-only event, making it a 'singular' experience for both the performer and the audience.

The involvement of Joe Lycett and the Slow Horses star adds to the play's star-studded legacy and is likely to generate renewed interest in the production. While specific dates and venue details have not yet been announced, the casting signals a continued appetite for innovative theatre that challenges traditional performance norms. Global theatre fans can expect further announcements in the coming weeks.
