CM Omar Abdullah Meets Delegations; Discusses Film Promotion, Industrial Infrastructure and Youth Empowerment

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met various delegations at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, discussing film promotion, industrial infrastructure, regional development, social welfare, education and youth empowerment. He also received NCC leadership, which acknowledged the government’s support to its directorate.

Srinagar, Oct 13: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today met several delegations and individuals at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, and discussed key issues concerning film promotion, industrial infrastructure, regional development, education and youth empowerment in Jammu and Kashmir.

Filmmaker Onir, associated with Anticlock Films, Mumbai, called on the Chief Minister and held discussions on measures to promote and develop the film sector in Jammu and Kashmir.

A delegation comprising Lokesh Kumar Gupta, General Manager, IRCON, also met the CM Omar Abdullah and discussed avenues for expanding the role of IRCON International Limited in strengthening industrial infrastructure across the Union Territory.

Mehnaaz A.G. Nadiadwala, author, social activist and Founder and Trustee of the Mehnaaz A.G. Nadiadwala Foundation (MAGN Foundation), called on Omar Abdullah and discussed initiatives focused on regional progress, development and public welfare.

Meanwhile, a delegation led by Mudassir Mushtaq Raina, Manager Operations, Unacademy Kashmir, apprised the Chief Minister of the Wisdom Aptitude Talent Hunt (WATH), an educational initiative aimed at identifying, nurturing and empowering talented youth across Jammu and Kashmir.

Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM, Additional Director General, NCC Directorate J&K and Ladakh, also called on the Chief Minister and expressed gratitude for the support extended by the government to the NCC Directorate J&K and Ladakh.

The meetings highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government, industry, educational institutions, social organisations and youth-focused initiatives in advancing development and creating opportunities across Jammu and Kashmir.
