Several people were injured on Wednesday when Saudi Arabia's capital airport in Riyadh was reportedly struck again, according to initial reports. The suspected attack comes just a day after Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for two deadly attacks on the same airport, marking a rapid and alarming escalation in hostilities.

The previous day's assaults, which the Houthis said targeted military and civilian infrastructure, resulted in multiple fatalities and prompted Saudi authorities to temporarily suspend flights. While the full extent of Wednesday's damage and casualty figures remain unclear, the repeated targeting of a major international hub underscores the growing reach of Houthi capabilities and the challenges facing Saudi air defenses.

The international community has yet to issue a coordinated response, but the strikes are likely to heighten tensions across the region and could disrupt global oil markets. Saudi officials are expected to convene an emergency security meeting, while airlines may reassess flight routes over Saudi airspace. The Houthis have vowed further attacks unless the Saudi-led coalition ends its military campaign in Yemen.
