Rashtriya Ekta Diwas: Tripura Police Bike Rally Begins for Gujarat

08 October, Agartala: On the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, a 12-member team of the Tripura Police today embarked on a motorcycle rally from Agartala to Kevadia in Gujarat.
The rally was flagged off by Tripura Police Director General G.S. Rao at the Manoranjan Debbarma Smriti Stadium at A.D. Nagar Police Lines in Agartala.
The DGP said the motorcycle rally would travel through different parts of the country and culminate at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat.
The rally has been organised with the messages of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" and "Nasha Mukt Bharat", with the objective of spreading awareness about national unity and integrity and promoting a drug-free, safe and healthy society.
Senior officials of the Tripura Police, CRPF and Narcotics Control Bureau were present at the flag-off ceremony.
