From public infrastructure to frontier science, the Prime Minister’s visit will also spotlight India’s growing research capabilities.
At the Sudha Gopalakrishnan Brain Centre at IIT Madras, researchers are working to map the human brain at cellular resolution through advanced imaging, computational methods and three-dimensional reconstruction.
The centre integrates structural magnetic resonance imaging with high-resolution examination of brain tissue to build a more detailed understanding of human brain architecture.
IIT Madras has emerged as an important centre for research-led entrepreneurship, bringing together academic expertise, technology development and enterprise.
