Palla Srinivasa Rao, a prominent BJP leader, flagged off a 25-rider bike rally organized by the Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF) from Alipiri in Tirupati. The Seva Sankalp Yatra, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public office, will conclude in Varanasi on October 8. The event underscores the party’s efforts to connect with youth and highlight Modi’s political journey.
Palla Srinivasa Rao, a BJP leader, on Sunday flagged off a bike rally from Alipiri in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public office. The rally, organized by the Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF), comprises 25 riders who will travel to Varanasi, Modi’s parliamentary constituency, as part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Yatra’. The riders are expected to reach Varanasi on October 8.
The event is part of a broader campaign by the BJP and its affiliates to celebrate Modi’s political journey, which began as a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak in the 1980s and included terms as Gujarat Chief Minister and two consecutive terms as Prime Minister. The TNSF, the student wing of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), an ally of the BJP in Andhra Pradesh, is participating in the rally. Palla Srinivasa Rao, a former MLA and TDP leader who recently joined the BJP, emphasized the rally’s message of service and dedication. “This yatra symbolizes the spirit of service and commitment that Modi ji has embodied for 25 years,” he said.
The rally is seen as a strategic move to galvanize youth support and strengthen the BJP-TDP alliance ahead of upcoming elections. It also highlights the BJP’s focus on Varanasi, a key political and spiritual hub. The conclusion of the yatra in Varanasi on October 8 is expected to draw significant attention, with potential participation from senior party leaders. The event’s success could set the tone for similar outreach initiatives across the country.
