Self-Reliance Education Inter-School Final 2026 Held in Aizawl
The final of the Intodelh Inzirtirna or Self-Reliance Education Inter-School Competition 2026, jointly organized by Samagra Shiksha and Tili, was held at Dawrpui Multipurpose Hall in Aizawl yesterday.
8th October, Aizawl: Speaking as the chief guest, School Education Commissioner and Secretary K. Lalthawmmawia urged students to stay away from substance abuse, noting high mortality rates among Mizo men. He encouraged the youths to become job creators rather than just seeking government jobs. He praised the initiative for teaching students the value of hard work, financial realities, and self-reliance.
Govt. KM Higher Secondary School emerged as the winner, receiving a trophy and Rs 15,000. Thenzawl Senior Secondary School secured the second position, while Govt. Saitual High School took third. Lalchhanchhuahi of Govt. KM HSS was awarded Best Presenter. The event featured participating schools from Aizawl, Saitual, and Serchhip districts.
