DG CRPF Reviews Multipurpose Hall Project at Bantalab
Directs officials to expedite execution for timely completion; facility to cater to serving and retired CRPF personnel in Jammu
Director General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), G.P. Singh, during his tour of Jammu and Kashmir, visited the CRPF Group Centre (GC) at Bantalab, Jammu, and reviewed the ongoing development of a multipurpose hall.
The DG inspected the proposed multipurpose hall site in the presence of Special Director General, J&K Zone, and Inspector General, Jammu Sector. He also interacted with key stakeholders associated with the project and took stock of the progress and implementation-related aspects.
During the visit, the DG directed the concerned officers and stakeholders to expedite the execution of the project to ensure its timely completion. He emphasised the need for coordinated efforts and close monitoring of the work so that the facility is made available at the earliest.
The multipurpose hall, once completed, is expected to fulfil a long-standing requirement of serving and retired CRPF officers and personnel who are posted or settled in Jammu.
The proposed facility is intended to provide a dedicated space for various official, social and community-related activities of CRPF personnel and their families, besides strengthening welfare infrastructure for the force in the region.
The visit formed part of the DG CRPF's tour of Jammu and Kashmir, during which he reviewed infrastructure and operational matters and interacted with senior officers and stakeholders.
