204th Raksha Pension Samadhan Ayojan Begins at Tanda, Akhnoor
Two-day pension outreach brings veterans, Veer Naris and dependents together for time-bound grievance redressal, digital pension services, healthcare and welfare support.
The 204th Raksha Pension Samadhan Ayojan (RPSA) was inaugurated at Tanda, Akhnoor today by Lt Gen Mohit Seth, General Officer Commanding, White Knight Corps, and Himanshu Shankar, IDAS, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts, Prayagraj.
The two-day Ayojan, being conducted on October 7 and 8, brings together Defence Forces veterans, Veer Naris, dependents of Ex-Servicemen and civilian defence employees from the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on a common platform for prompt and time-bound resolution of pension-related grievances.
The RPSA provides a single-window platform for veterans and their families to directly engage with the concerned authorities on issues related to pension, service-record updation, family pension and digital pension services, including SPARSH.
Special emphasis is being laid on in-situ grievance redressal, with cases being resolved at the venue itself wherever feasible. Matters requiring further action are being taken up with the concerned agencies.
A comprehensive facilitation network comprising 36 dedicated stalls has brought together Records Offices, ECHS, Rajya Sainik Board, AWPO, DGR, banks, SPARSH Service Centre, Veer Parivar initiatives and various Central and UT Government departments. The facilities provide veterans and their families access to pension, healthcare, welfare, resettlement and other support services under one roof.
The Ayojan also features lectures and interactive sessions aimed at creating awareness about pension entitlements, welfare schemes, digital services, resettlement and employment opportunities.
A free medical camp, organised by an NGO and supported by specialist doctors, was also held for veterans.
The Raksha Pension Samadhan Ayojan reaffirmed the Defence Forces’ commitment to the welfare, dignity and well-being of veterans and their families, underscoring the enduring bond between the Nation and those who served it.
