Psikyo Memories Blasts Onto Nintendo Switch 2 With Official Release Date

Psikyo Memories, a retro shoot-'em-up compilation, has been given an official release date for the Nintendo Switch 2, according to a dispatch from Newsbreak. The announcement also included a list of games that will be bundled in the collection, though the raw report did not specify the exact date or full lineup.

The package is expected to bring together classic Psikyo arcade titles, a catalog that has long been prized by fans of the shmup genre. The move adds to the growing roster of third-party and retro-focused software confirmed for Nintendo's next-generation hardware, as publishers look to leverage the Switch 2's install base and backward-compatibility appeal.

For retro gaming enthusiasts, the release could serve as an accessible entry point to Psikyo's arcade legacy, while also testing demand for niche compilations on the new platform. Further details, including pricing, regional availability and the complete game list, are likely to follow from the publisher or Nintendo in the coming weeks.
