204th Raksha Pension Samadhan Ayojan to Be Held in Akhnoor

The Indian Defence Forces, under the aegis of the Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV), will organise the 204th Raksha Pension Samadhan Ayojan (RPSA) at Akhnoor on October 7 and 8 to address pension-related grievances of ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and their dependents.

The two-day event will be held from 9 am to 5 pm at the Sangha Auditorium, Akhnoor. The initiative is aimed at providing a one-stop platform for veterans and their families to resolve pension-related issues and access various welfare services.

Several help desks and stalls will be established at the venue to provide assistance on pension-related queries, record updates, family pension, guidance for dependents and digital pension services, including SPARSH. Veterans will also have an opportunity to interact directly with pension authorities.

The event will facilitate coordination between veterans and various agencies, including Records Offices, pension-handling banks and government welfare organisations. A key focus will be on in-situ grievance redressal, with efforts to resolve issues on the spot wherever possible or initiate the required process with clear guidance.

A large number of defence veterans, Veer Naris and their family members are expected to participate in the event.

The organisers have encouraged veterans and their next of kin in the region to attend the RPSA and avail themselves of the opportunity to resolve pension-related issues and learn about welfare schemes available to them.

The initiative reiterates the Defence Forces' commitment to the welfare and continued support of those who have served the nation.
